Intersections, Voices in Feminist Art Opening Reception

  • Patterson Appleton Arts Center 400 East Hickory Street Denton, TX, 76201 United States (map)

We are absolutely thrilled to announce the opening of "Intersections, Voices in Feminist Art" exhibition, which features five installation artworks by Aubree Dale, Christine Irving & Suzi Manrique, Karla Ramirez-Santin and Robyn Rozelle.

Accompanying the installation exhibit in the hallway outside of the gallery, next to our library, hang four self-portraits by TWU students from professor Dr. Agatha Bein's "Art, Activism and Social Justice" course who reflect and explore facets of identity and self.

These works explore a wide range of topics including the body, social media, motherhood, homemaking, safe spaces, disability and accessibility.

Join us for an enriching artist panel discussion about the work and its themes during the opening reception, on Thursday, July 17th.
